In particular I was thrilled by the intellectual and cultural diversity of my fellow students which enabled me to gain valuable insights in leading and working within multinational project teams.
Moreover, Reims with its magnificent Champagne flair and Dublin itself, with its musicals, thousands of pubs and business vibe were altogether an unforgettable international experience! During the third term of the IPBS MIM programme I received the chance to write my master dissertation in cooperation with IBM conducting an end-to-end analysis for a leading German luxury car manufacturer’s value chain. I believe that the right mix between practical and theoretical management education, together with the programme’s high international reputation represent a clear value proposition for the employers world-wide.

After having passed the IPBS MIM with distinction I was immediately offered a job as a Strategy Consultant at IBM Global Business Services in Germany. Even today I can leverage the large repertoire of skills and the network of international contacts which I was able to build during the 12 months of the IPBS MIM.

Altogether I am very satisfied with the IPBS MIM and the valuable experiences I gained during the entire programme.

Nicolas Poiret

Masters in International Management  -  Consultant Eurogroup Consulting

"The idea of doing the MIM programme within the International Partnership of Business Schools really motivated me as it offered a unique learning experience. By being placed in two universities over a one year period, I learnt from experienced professors and enhanced my business knowledge.
Moreover, the MSc in International Management represented a perfect multicultural environment as I benefited from international exposure. I used this international mobility to broaden my horizons.
Living in the USA and Ireland helped me to increase my ability to adapt to new people and new surroundings and the fact that the entire programme was taught in English helped me to really improve my English proficiency – all of which are necessary to succeed in a business environment that is becoming more and more global. During my undergraduate studies of Technology and Management at Reims Management School, and particularly during the MIM programme, I also adopted a "Networking attitude", cultivating my network in order to get the most from it.
Working in teams within the MIM programme helped me to find my role as an operational, analytical and proactive person which are important aspects of the way consultants work. During this programme I gained strong interpersonal skills which, in addition to business skills, allow me to understand my clients’ issues, as a consultant for an European management consulting group in Paris (Eurogroup Consulting).
With this Master’s degree in International Management, I developed the background necessary to understand and perform all aspects of a company business in order to become a business leader."

Masters in International Management

“Having completed an M.A in International Business at La Sorbonne University Paris in July 2006, I decided to look for an interesting, international and compact high level Master’s course that would help me jump into active life as best as possible through a more practice oriented program than the one I previously had.
I had heard about the MSc program at RMS/DCU from some friends who were already at RMS. A Master’s which offers a compact one year MSc program in two countries sounded to me like a good chance to further enhance my knowledge in such fields as strategic management, human resources, marketing and business statistics, to name but a few.
The courses at Reims and Dublin offered a great variety of topics. They were well organized and provided students with up-to-date business knowledge. The international environment offered a great learning experience due to the various personalities and methods involved, all of which were put to the test through group presentations involving up-to-date case studies and individual papers. After the second term ended, I began my Master’s thesis term.
I am glad I chose this MSc program which was not only a door opener for my current professional position, thanks notably to the reputation of the schools, but has also allowed me to build some extraordinary and hopefully lasting friendships.”
